live rig routing

hello

i play bass, synth, and i want to play also drum machines.
i've some pedals and i want to find a solution to use them with all instruments.

i also like the sound of my gallien krueger with synth and kick/snare.

so i'm thinking to pass through the pedals and go on my gallien krueger.

and at the end of the pedals board put a d.i. to divide the sound, one goes to GK the other to P.A. mixer.

the point is how enter in the pedals and if pass through them with for example bass or synth and drum machines is not a good thing.

how enter in the pedals because if i do that with a mixer i think i can lose signal specially for the bass.

so how people do that usually?

I'm not sure that I totally understand your question, but I think I have good idea of what you are trying to do. I played in a Rush tribute for a long time and had the need for multiple switching between guitars, synths, effects pedals, amps etc...

I found this company that manufatctures a great piece of gear called the "Switchblade GL". It is a fabulous solution, but may be a bit much for you. It is actually a switching matrix that will do balanced/unbalanced to any or all OP/IP.

Sound Sculpture: The Switchblade Midi Controlled Guitar Switching System

There are other manufacturers of switching gear as well, but this is what I went with.
