Talking Recording In Moving Vehicle

I know this is more of a music-centric forum, but I have a production question.

I usually do only post production sound design, however am helping out a buddy with his short which involves two characters in a moving vehicle in a heated discussion.

What would be the best way to record this (equipment and placement wise)? Also, any pointers / tips to make the production audio clean (and thus also less work for me as I am also doing the post sound on it)?

Use a boundary mic on the dashboard?

I think a sharp HPF is essential, to cut of frequencies below 100 Hz.
