Talking It's Grammy time again!

Dear All.
You can file this post in the shameless plug file.
We here at Soundmirror have had a banner year at the Recording Academy.
We've been nominated in the following Grammy Awards:

Category 97: Producer Of The Year, Classical:
Blanton Alspaugh

Category 98: Best Classical Album: 2 Nominations!!

1) Grechaninov: Passion Week; Charles Bruffy, conductor; Blanton Alspaugh, producer (Kansas City Chorale & Phoenix Bach Choir)

2) Lorraine Hunt Lieberson Sings Peter Lieberson: Neruda Songs
Lorraine Hunt Lieberson; Dirk Sobotka, producer (James Levine; Boston Symphony Orchestra)

Category 101: Best Choral Performance
Grechaninov: Passion Week; Charles Bruffy, conductor

Category 106: Best Classical Vocal Performance:

"Lorraine Hunt Lieberson Sings Peter Lieberson: Neruda Songs";
Peter Lieberson

Category 107: Best Classical Contemporary Composition:
"Lorraine Hunt Lieberson Sings Peter Lieberson: Neruda Songs"
Peter Lieberson

Clips of all these records are available at Itunes as well as the record company websites.
The Grechaninov: "Passion Week" can be auditioned here:

The Lieberson: "Neruda Songs" can be auditioned by choosing "Lorraine Hunt Lieberson" from the list at this link. Once on her page choose "Discography" then "Neruda Songs"

As an extra note, I personally mixed and/or mastered all of the records listed.
I would be incredibly grateful if any of the voting members here could take a listen to the clips and consider voting.
Needless to say we are honored to be nominated.
All the best,
-mark

Shameless indeed! ;>) but a very nice list of fine work.

I'm sure that recognition will come to the deserving.

Was anything here recorded on analog tape?

Cool, I'll plug mine now too then...

umm...

umm...

d'oh! Maybe next year, I guess.

However, we did just get on this release (we did the live multitrack recording): One Sweet Night DVD Suzy Bogguss

It ain't a Grammy nod, but it's pretty cool for us "little folks" !
