Anyone ever bought XLR cables with the connectors in the L-Form (not the straight, typical ones)? I have an idea that would go with those, but never heard of anyone having them. Do they exist at all? Thanks! ![]()

Redco carries the connectors, and I'm sure they could make you up some cables with them: http://www.redco.com/shopexd.asp?id=122

You mean right angle connectors? They're pretty common from the usual suspects (Neutrik, Switchcraft, etc). I use them on audience mics and am about to make a drum loom using them for the tom channels. I remember them not being quite as easy to make up as straight XLR's, but they're not too bad.

the neutrik ones are a bit more complicated to assemble than their straight ones, i've never dealt with the switchcraft. the neutriks would be easier with a smaller guage cable too. ...like if you were using think mic cable in that drum loom.
