Thumbs up XLR connectors with an L-form??

Anyone ever bought XLR cables with the connectors in the L-Form (not the straight, typical ones)? I have an idea that would go with those, but never heard of anyone having them. Do they exist at all?

Thanks!

Redco carries the connectors, and I'm sure they could make you up some cables with them:

You mean right angle connectors? They're pretty common from the usual suspects (Neutrik, Switchcraft, etc). I use them on audience mics and am about to make a drum loom using them for the tom channels. I remember them not being quite as easy to make up as straight XLR's, but they're not too bad.

the neutrik ones are a bit more complicated to assemble than their straight ones, i've never dealt with the switchcraft. the neutriks would be easier with a smaller guage cable too. ...like if you were using think mic cable in that drum loom.
