Question Miking small acoustic group for live to air

Hello - i would like a bit of advice on the following situation.

I have got a small band to mic up in a community radio station in a room like a loungeroom. The band has 4 members - 2 a/c gtrs, 1 bass, snare and suitcase kik. All will be singing. Monitoring will be thru headphones. It will be live to air.

I own about 20 mics consisting of the usual suspects - 57s. beta 57s, small diaphragm and large diaphragm condensors etc .

I dont know if i should use dynamics or condensors on the vox and then what else on the kit etc. Will i use compressors? I think im overthinking a simple situation but i only have 30 minutes to set up so i want a plan before i go in.

Has anybody done anything similar?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Dave

To be honest, I have a radio station (small community LPFM) and the listeners will hear just about everything with just about any mics. Probably mic the group from a little distance, don't let the singers hog the mics and you'll be good to go...really.
