shure psm 700 in ear monitoring compatibility

i am looking at buying a secondhand shure psm 700 in ear monitoring system from the US and will be using it in AUSTRALIA. will a US unit work in australia? i believe they are universally 110 and 240V compatible but will the UHF frequencies still work?

the system specs makes reference to the following:
frequency compatible with all shure wireless systems (country dependent)

what does this mean exactly?
