In ear monitors...which one?

I have been researching or trying to research all of the available options out there for personal in ears. As most of you probably know, there are tons of companies that are doing it and I was trying to get an opinion on which ones are the most legit.

I'm looking to spend less than $500 for a custom mold and the earphones themselves. I will be using them for live purposes to hear click and monitors

Universal Ears cheapest is $700, and i've heard a lot of good stuff about them.

Westone, future sonics, m-audio???

any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I use Westones. A local hearing protection company made the molds for me. I haven't compared them with anything else, but they serve me well. I'd get dual driver earpieces next time though.

Westone dual drivers here (I'm a bassplayers, so like the extension into the lower frequencies)
Locally made custom molds.

Wouldn't want to go back to he old ways

Here in NL it is somewhat more expensive though (I paid over 800 Euro)

the M-Audio's are a little bit too long. They are not comfortable. I use the shure e5's.... they sound rich with no hyped lows.

I would say the UE's are the next in ear purchase i'll make.... just cause i can oder them in black!
