Question Sporting/News Events

Hello all.

I came across a few guys doing sound at a press conference I did AV for, and was curious what exactly their title would be considered?

This is something that I have an interest in getting into, especially if I can get into the Sporting event market. I just don't know how or where to start.

I would really appreciate some info on this subject from anyone who may be able to help. As I think this is the right forum to find some answers.

Respect.

Hmm, No advice anywhere? Seems to me as if people are at least looking at the thread.

Respect.

Usually called location sound recordist/supervisor (depending on how superior they are)!
