Mic stereo for field recording AND Home studio

Hi
I'm composer (experimental music) and I create all my sounds.
I use every kind of sound (instrumental to concrete sound)

So I need a high quality microphone for field recordings and recordings at home.

It has to be a stereo one (more easy to manage for field recording) and has to be of course polyvalent.

Price : 500/3000$ (i just want 1 stereo microphone)

You could look for a second hand soundfield mic.

SoundField: Welcome to SoundField

Very good, versatile and user friendly.
They have got a battery powered version for location recording.

i use the audio technica AT825 for all found sound, location and studio stereo recording. i know this mic is also used by film crews and by the british library for their sound archive. personally, it's never let me down.
