Can anyone shed some light on this one. Most if not all major networks seem to be using 2 lav mics on anchors/hosts etc. Why? Is is simply for a backup and or stereo? Also, what models are most using? Thx |

Back ups for sure. I like sankens. The sennhieser MKII golds aren't too shabby. I think the sankens kick ass

| Tram TR-50s rock! I've even recorded guitars with them. Second choice: Sennheiser ME102. (for those news anchors that insist on throwing the mic on the floor, until it's wrapped around the chair wheels!)
