Question Neve Broadcast console

I came across an old 16 channel Neve broadcast console for sale (5400 series maybe?). The channel strip modules are numbered 34128 and have been modded for a post fader direct out on each channel.

Anyone had any experience with this board? Any idea on what the value is?

bumpity-bump

Really? No one on Gearslutz has any idea what a console like this might go for?

Perhaps I am being too forward here, but has anyone bought something like this recently (past 5 - 10 years)? What did you pay for it?

Heck - if you had a shot what would you offer?

Feel free to PM me - any input at all would be greatly appreciated.

OK... a 1073 its not...

However the pre's are pretty damn good, transformer coupled LOADS of headroom, EQ is limited but good and good centre fequencies,

Summing is where these are at as they are broadcast spec and have some silly fcuk off +36 or something stupid like that. Geoff Tanners forum will yield a bit of info on these as I have asked years ago..

I have used and nearly bought a couple over the years.. so just buy it now before someone else does cos u spent toomuch time asking questions here on GS!

I mean it has the N word and it sounds pretty damn good so just buy it and if it sucks then im sure you wont have ANY trouble re-pimping it on ebay etc..

GET involved
