Can anybody recommend a few shipping companies? I guess by boat would be cheaper. |

I'll let someone else chime in about shipping companies but one thing to keep in mind will be custom taxes. They can really be heavy so look into your particular model and age -- maybe even talk to your Customs office to see what tax bracket it'll fall into. Just a thought.

I had Rockit cargo do mine. They crated it for $500 and then shipped it with the rest of my gear. I think it ends up being about $4 per kilo, but call them for a quote. Also check guys that Daking recommended: Crating Lester Box & Crate Mfg. 1470 Seabright Ave. Long Beach, CA 90813-1152 562 437 5123 Freight http://www.tnt.com/ Marcela Lopez our rep 310 242 3875 |

Custom is not an issue here. The buyer will cover this. I need a few lead with companies (NY a +) who could crate the board and ship it. |

Maybe you should ask Mike Stoica at Sytek, I think he knows a very good and cheap shipping company, and shipped a few Neoteks to Europe. btw, which console are you selling ?

I have usd a company called Seibu for shipping console to Europe from NYC, and a crating company on the upper East side called Cirker, whose specialty is art and antiques. They weren't cheap but did a good job. Don't have contact numbers in front of me. PM me if you are interested. Regards. jhg

hi We just brought a Harrison console from Sweden to the Virgin Islands. Trip was by boat - took about a month. Everything arrive in perfect shap - in large part due to the carefull packing by Dragan and Tobias. Weighed 4400lbs gross - 6 large crates - bill was just shy of $4,000. Contact me for info if interested. Dan |
