Pavarotti said back in the mid 70's that opera singers can't be marketed like coca cola........ but boy did they try with him and the other big two throughout the next couple of decades. But it was such an extraordinary voice that it transcended the hype. They have been trying for god only knows how long to find the next pavarotti....or cash cow. But there never will be another. RIP.....maestro. An inspiration to millions.

The King of the High C's will never be forgotten.

What a wonderful gift he shared with all of us.

The great man was a human being who knew how to give, who loved his audience and other people. He was real and very dedicated to his art.

He turned out to be the best ambassador for classical music that we have in our lifetime and I doubt we'll see another like him.

I thank God for his gift to us and for the life of the maestro. Oh, that sound
