Locking an Anvil Case

I guess this fits in the "remote recording" section best...

I just got an anvil case which I am going to use to store all my direct boxes, pedals, guitar cables etc. I want to lock it when I'm not at the studio because I have a hard enough time keeping all this stuff organized without it taking a walk.

I think I have seen some type of setup with a metal rod and a master lock that will fit through the little holes on the Anvil latches but I can't seem to find it online.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

I'd replace one of the latches with some sort of locking / lockable latch. I've done this on a few of my cases with a locking latch, and all of them use the same key. There are a few varieties - key locks, combo locks, and latches that have a tab for your own lock.

I'm with Dave on this one.

You could also consider drilingl a couple of holes and install a loclable latch in the center of the case like we have for our mic cases.

I'm not sure if you can see it, but look for the snall key lock in the center of the blue case's lid.

There's a screw inside the case that the latch swings around it when locked.

I have a blue road case with a lockable lid like that, but it was that way when i got it, i got it used. I don't even have the key for it, i've never used the lock, but it seems secure enough...

They make anvil latches that have a loop for a padlock. You could buy one and replace it yourself if you don't mind a lot of drilling, or get a case company to do it for you.
