In Ear Monitoring System - Live Sound

Does anyone know what the best live sound in ear monitoring system is?
What are the top performers using these days? Are they EQ'd separately from the monitor system?

I have been using a Sennheiser EW 300 G2 system for a year or so now, with futuresonics custom ear monitors. Previously I was using its predecessor (think it was the G1). There are more expensive systems but the sennheiser does its job perfectly well! It has all the functions you need on it and some you don't and is pretty rugged. Mine has been chucked around a lot and seems to just keep going!
The futuresonics are awesome, but rather pricey at about 600 quid excluding having the moulds done. Well worth the money though!
Most stages I have ever played have had sennheiser units like mine or the older version of the same.
The main thing is to find a good monitor engineer!

Thanks for the reply. I heard that the Sennheiser is good. I am trying to get a list of options together for an artist. Best Ear buds (Future Sonics?) Best transmitter, etc.

Shure PSM series is good stuff. Use a couple of e3 or e5 earbuds and even mick jagger would be happy.

Again, key is to find a highly competent engineer though... its alot of trust using in ears.
