| Hey guys, An interesting recording session has come up and I will be getting a chance to record some music for prepared piano (piano with erasers, paper clips on strings and other objects to modify the sound) This piece in particular will involve erasers only to give some tuned drum type sounds, really cool btw. FYI, the lid will be off, nice sounding hall and piano. I have recorded this piece live with a standard omni pair and it sounded quite good, from what I recall. Don't worry too much about mics pres etc...not too much of an issue at the moment. Just doing some brainstorming before the session any ideas? Thanks. |
