Question Rackable UPS (Furman's SB-1000)

Hi there,
I'm in need for an Rackable UPS and bumped Furman's SB-1000 three weeks ago (@ Dealer's place, didn't had any time to test/check it).

1. Does anyone here used the SB-1000 in conjunction with Alesis HD24? (Does the switching is fast enough? I've been told that it's not an "on-line" UPS)

2. Do you think that while using this UPS will i still have any need for my power conditioner?

It's time to move my stuff into Racks, I find myself tracking three/four times a month at the moment and i have need to RACK it all ;-)!

Thanks, Noam.

Maybe you can set up a test - record and turn off the power by unpligging it when rolling. Tell us what Happens! I don't have a UPS yet but need to get one...

I too would like to know the results of this test, as I'm also in the market for a UPS. If you do it please tell us all the pieces of equipment that were connected to the UPS.
