Where to record strings in NYC?

Is there a studio in NYC to record a 12-15 piece string section for around $150/hr?

Sear studio A used to be $160/hr, but they now only sell the room as a daily lockout.

I only need 3 hours. Going to Jersey is not an option in this case. Manhattan studios only.

Baby Monster is gone. The Big House is gone too.

What is Pilot like? How much $?

What about Loho?

Any suggestions out there, or do I have to cough up real dough for Clinton or Legacy?

You could try Kampo studios down in the village.

Kampo AudioRecording Studios - Audio Production

Might be a little cozy but I think they run about $125/hr.

Oh yeah! I remember that place. Bond street or something. I think they're part of a Japanese culture centre. I'll check them out.
