Talking Recording and Mixing in a Cottage in Berkeley, CA

I spent the better part of a week out in Berkeley a short while ago doing a few overdubs and mostly mixing for my good friend David. I pretty much photograph all my sessions and here are a few shots from the first roll of film.

Here is Max Heath with this crazy beautiful old accordian that someone found and just dragged in one day. I set him up in the kitchen with a BLUE Dragonfly for some improvised overdubs to a hip hop track. This accordian is easily the best one I have ever recorded!

This is my partner Ann working with David. Ann coaches all the singers we track and also tunes them up when they need a little touch up (thus the worried look on David's face).

My dog Noriko came along for these sessions a few times since I was gone for so long... a few times her barking found its way onto a few tracks...

Here is the mobile mixing set up Ann and I brought along (just the "essentials"). Note the H3000D/SE. This was its debut. Untouchably good box!

The owner of the cottage was into collecting all this crazy vintage "Americana" stuff. I spotted this wonderful collection of vintage cameras.

Here are Ann and David again. We were set up in the corner of a little kitchen with a laptop and some NS10s. Not the most ideal set up, but the results were quite good regardless.

Beutiful!

Can you expand a bit on those (Unrackedtutt ) two lexicons that placed under the Eventide?
What are they?

Best regards, Noam.
