Yes U2 were especially moving when they played Glasgow, and tells me once again, that there is no audience quite like a Glasgow audience.

Bono did his half-time political thing and snapped his fingers, again and again.

"Every time I snap my fingers, a baby dies in Africa." he said.

A loud voice called out from the crowd "Well, stop F-ing doing it then!"

Acts I've seen who I considered to be way better live than on record,

U2, Unbelievable!

HEM, the way the 2 guitarists hit off each other shows amazing understanding

Rodriguez and Gabriella, Loads of power that doesn't translate to recordings well

Yes! Though it seems like they're all busy with side projects these past few years, and for their last album, they were going by the name Blues Explosion (without the Jon Spencer name in front of it). I went to a show in support of their Damage album, and because of problems with the venue, they bumped the show to a tiny bar at the last minute and I was lucky enough to learn about it in time. It was like hanging out in a studio, with a well-stocked bar as a bonus.
