Question Best small live mixer?

I'm looking for a small live passive mixer to team up with two mackie srm450 powered speakers. Minimum 6 mic inputs, instrument inputs would be a bonus. Needs to be packed up neatly. Something with the quality of an allen&heath but smaller than anything they make right now would be ideal. Must run on UK power and be available to the UK. Any suggestions?

if you can swing it i would just get a mix wizzard, or even a PA12 for a cheeper desk. for smaller rigs Wharfedales are decent, they leave beh, alto, etc in the dust for a similar price. pres and eq are decent and usable and the pots are decent and feel the same as the next one.

Get the Allen and Heath Mix Wiz if you can swing it, really worth the little bit of extra cost. Four band EQ with hi/mid / low/mid sweepable EQ. A real desk in a rackmount package. Six aux sends too with built in effects (Not the best, but they can be bypassed)

I have mixed on several Wharfdale units and there is no comparison between the two, hands down the Allen and Heath. The Wharfdale also has the issue of Very wimpy aux sends vs. regular wimpy aux sends on the Mix Wiz.

If more money is available one of the 16 channel Yamaha (12 mic pres) 01R? I think.
