I found a Shure FP42 new for 100.00, i have been using all sorts of mixers for recording recitals, choruses at schools and this unit is the best yet, comes with a super warm limiter, only has 4 channels with no eq, it has a low cut and also runs off batteries. As far as any eq i just do that back at the studio when im mastering it, i use it for stereo audio and video shoots.......a big thumbs up compared to a 1k to 2k mixer for the field.
