Question Storing mixer on its side?

I have an Allen & Heath WZ3162 in a roadcase. Should I not store the mixer on its side? I havnt yet because I saw the thread a while back about how some people's rack equipment ended up bent and mangled after being transported on the thier backs. I wouldnt want to transport the mixer on its side for sure, i could see that being pretty hardsh on it. I kept it on it's side for a month or so while i moved but it was in it's foam from the factory.

The frame should be fine. Determine the "down" side, put in dense-celled, hard foam then a layer of medium density foam. If you cut the foam well and it is supported, the console will be perfectly fine.
