Question does the firestudio do the splits

has any one used the Firestudios Direct Analog out's as a splitter?

anybody know what kinda split the analog outs are . are they clean

can you use them in a real live situation when spliting to the FOH .

I'm doing my first location recording Saturday for a wedding.

you would think I was the one getting hitched.

of course thanks for all your response's .

I haven't used one, but I would guess the outgoing signal would carry your gain level - not a problem for you, but might be for the FOH. Again, not sure about this...

I believe it is a software ouput, not a direct out from the preamp. The firepod can be a direct out from the preamp but not while it is attached via firewire, and I have one on the way so once I try it I may be able to explain it better. I chose the firepod over the firestudio because I thought the firepods outs were actually direct outs, but that is only sort of true? Confused? I am, but I will be less so on Monday...
