Ambush Style Rock Concert!!!

Saw this on the local craigslist:

self-contained venue in a truck

Who needs a remote truck.. or even a VENUE when you have THIS?! lol

If I won the lottery, I'd buy it.

Wait, lemme think about that.....

No, I wouldn't. But still cool!

Boy, that sucker needs some helper springs on the rear axel.

I'd like to see more info about what they are trying to do, but you could easily put in a split and multitrack for any smallish band (which is all this would support).

The guy is dreaming if he thinks it's worth 100k. He probably values his cost and labor in design/build, but it's not worth HALF that in used equipment value... and no indie band is gonna afford it. I guess if I were promoting ambush RAP it'd make some sense.

Thanks for the post, though. It's interesting, to say the least. Personally I think that guy was smoking too much Marin weed when he started this project.

$100K...

What a deal -- NOT!

Furthermore, It usually takes longer to setup a set than to break one down.
Why does it take five seconds longer to strike that truck than to set it up?
15 seconds to setup... 20 to strike.

I think it takes that long cose you hit a bump an the doors just drop open, to strike you have to close em and duct tape it together.

Did you folks see their YouTube video and stuff???

Crazy, but kind of cool all in all...

Ambush America... They say they travelled 40 thousand miles on a website, but the odometer states 12,000 or so.

They invested 208K into this vehicle. Man, can you dig that?

And the current high bid on eBay is $102 !

They have a long way to go to get $100,000.

I was wondering what they did for soundproofing. Evidently, they used $20 bills!
