All I can say, is that The Frankfurt Messe will be over soon and the IFFWDM MKII driver 1.20 has been released. So I'm quite sure they will rapp up the 1.11 driver quite soon I hope...

All I can say is, it ought to (needs to) be amazing if it spent five months being beta-tested.

BTW, that OS update for the X48 finally came out a couple of weeks back. It's good. No mind-blowing changes, mainly fixes to minor issues (and probably a few major ones too... but I didn't really have any major problems with it before the update. Ok, maybe one or two, but I got used to them. If they're now dealt with, so much the better.) Seems very stable so far, and the update to the big meters page has been useful already. |

Is anyone using the X-48 as a studio mixer/multitrack? Not live or location work?

Maybe noone noticed but Tascam just put out a new mk2 version of the X48 : News :: TASCAM UNVEILS THE X-48MKII, STANDALONE 48-TRACK HYBRID HARD DISK WORKSTATION | TASCAM Apparently, the older X48 can be be upgraded with the new software or so I've read on some other forum. Needs to be confirmed though. But it's good news that the machine is still fully supported and in development ! |

Looks cool.....lots of people using it for "live" sessions and sharing.... Where's a cool studio album made with one? C'mon?!! People are making albums with iPads and GarageBand.... But no paper trail on this beast in the studio.... |
