If You are looking for some Mojo I would go for a Mc77. I just received mine two days ago and after literally 5 minutes of fiddling with the knobs I managed to achieve a vocal sound I could never achieve with any plugins. I also use it with conjunction with Drawmer 1968 (up to 3db of reduction)----- MC77 = in Your face, close vocal. Does it fit acoustic music? For me- hell yeah

Cheers
