Time to plan the summer BBQ

That luncheon was great!! But it's time to plan for the future....

DeBragga & Splitter have the best Black Angus Filet Mignons that I know of. What do you say we get a few whole ones, a bag of Kingsford charcoal, a cold beer ball and stake out a piece of grass we can call Gearslut paradise!

The anty should be about $30.00 total +/-.

I am thinking around June 25. It has a good vibe from being the last day of school!

Any thoughts?

Commando Tactics at the Record Plant

This was a story Surfer told me years ago.

CT was into a bit of a war with someone at the Plant. They would do stuff like unplugging headphone amps, setting feedback traps and other similar things that would rattle lesser engineers.

One day CT comes in and finds the studio totally dark. Knowing something is up, he crawls on his belly across the control room and up the wall to the variacs to turn on the lights.

As he turns around he sees LIVE LOBSTERS hung from the ceiling on strings with their claw bands removed!

Ah for the good old days!

Tom

Small World? Getting Smaller!!

So I'm flown down to Palm Beach yesterday to mix an event.

One of the guys at the gig looks strangely familiar....and he reminds me, we met at the Remotester's Dinner at LUGERS Monday night. How funny is THAT???

Joe, great working with you, bro-

I should have posted this in "Positive Vibe"....but I started this thread, so...maybe I'll finish it.

Yeah, I really didn't get a chance to talk to everyone and that's a real bummer.
There's not enough time in the day even when we're partying and such.

Someone took pictures (I'm sorry I don't remember, I'm horrible with names), and hopefully he'll post them very soon. Hint, hint...
Yes, 15 of us showed up to the shop and most stayed until 12 midnight.
Not enough playing, but we had a real good time.
Are there anymore pictures available?

Our last time at my place was a blast and Steve was a major part of it. I would love for all to benefit from over 30 years of field experience. We also plan on Videotaping for the forum. Date TBA.cooge

Let us know who would be interested.
I really like this idea and we should continue the brainstorming session.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned the fact that Blackwatch was carrying around a bullhorn shouting all sorts of things when we got the caravan of cars together for the trek to the field shop...

Boy, I wish I had a photo of that senario!

I quite enjoyed it and hope I can be around some more to learn and help out where I can. And thanks for being a class act too.

Got to have a personal tour of the place and glean a little info for myself. Elroy is gonna be an incredible truck when all is said and done. Very nice.

Can I also tell you folks, if you are driving too slow in or near the city, dont be suprised if a silver BMW 7 series whips past you.
