| Big Thanks!
I missed this thread when it was a sticky (I hope my ears are better than my eyes ).I certainly feel indebted to many on the Remote forum for their help. Here's just a few stand-out members who come to mind: Steve Remote: along with actively and regularly sharing his knowledge he once helped me with a time-sensitive problem by "cheer leading" others to help out. What other moderators do that?! Rich Mays: through a series of emails, guided me to Metric Halo -- I haven't looked back. It turns out, he lives in my hometown, and we know some of the same people. A.J.Farber: talked me through recording my first live performance jazz combo event. He spent close to an hour on the phone with me! Jim Salamone: has provided sage advice on many topics, and always answers his phone. He has also become a local friend. There are others who I can't think of right now, as well as people from other GS forums who have gone out of there way to learn me. Great place, great people. Thanks for all your help. - Jim
