I'm about to purchase a laptop in an effort to try to get into the remote recording world. I have an Maudio 1814 interface. I anticipate recording anything from 1 vocal 1 guitar to a full band. I'm trying to decide on a laptop. Im looking at Macbook and Macbook pro right now. Does anyone out there use either one of these? Also, regular Macbooks come with 400 firewire, while the Macbook pros feature 800 firewire. If I buy the regular Macbook, will the 400 firewire cause trouble when I'm recording many tracks at once?
