| That's a neat autotune that will actually leave the pitch a bit out of key - like Billy ususally does for style. Great simple rendition. God bless america and the flooded. -tINY |

Sounds like whoever instantiated the plug set it way too tight.

I didn't watch the link above, but the ones I've seen on youtube all have the nasty auto-tune thing happening. Sounds like they kicked it in right after he massacred that first line. Prince killed at Halftime, though!

Unbelievable! Rex Grossman must have been in charge of the auto-tune. Must be very embarrassing. |

Yep, it was sad.. But i think they did kick it in after the first couple of lines, or at least they lowered the threshold, and kept on lowering it!! all i rememebr is that as soon as he started singin, i thought, wow, he really sounds rough, and then i started to notice the A/T wobble kick in. too bad.. maybe he was sick or something.. Prince ROCKED hard... (can't figure out how the gear didnt get wet and blow up though???) |

Definately not Billy Joel's fault. He doesn't need AT. He has one of those gritty voices, even off, has some character. 'V-Vocal will be performing next year's pre-game with 'Melodyne' doing half-time. |
