Radiohead @ Shoreline in Mountain View, CA (SF Bay Area).

i've seen them twice there and each time the sound and performances were astounding.

Best sounding concert I've ever seen was Bush at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto a couple years back (last tour they ever did). Only lapse in awesomeness was watching Gavin have a ten minute feedback "sex-with the guitar, amp, and floor" solo after all the other band members went off stage pre-encore.

Great show.

Cool!! I'll point this out to Kenny since I will see him in a couple of hours. Funnest guy to work with. Except when all three bands show up an hour before doors.

I mixed her monitors (yikes) Patty got me going at that show. Did you hear her say "uh...it sounds like I have a cold but I don't!!" Ahhh, It happens, actually I'm one of the house monitor guy's and we really do take having the "best sound" serious. She had an active L'acoustics monitor rig with her with the graph "INLINE"!!?? That was the way they had for rehearsals. I was instructed to leave it untouched. WHAT??? It was one of those, "Its sounds bad now but Patty will like it!!" things as I was told. NEVER AGAIN! I don't care. Time came to make adjustments and I couldn't CUE them!!! NIGHTMARE! It worked out. She performed amazingly as well. After the first show I bypassed their graphs and went with our system. She's great though. She's a real old school-er and she would want less in the monitors during quite parts, She likes to hear the room!! and during the heavy stuff she likes more in the monitors, makes sense except most bands just want everything loud!! I had her channels AUX knobs imprinted on my palm for an hour or so after the gig from riding her the whole show. I've never ridden anyone like Patti,, Ha ha zing... Except for Karen from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs when she winked at me. No feedback for you!!! I need coffee.

We have 2 summit tla 100's in FOH an LA4A and a TLA 50 in monitor world. amongst all the Drawmer and dbx live stuff. Kenny has usually has his Royer SF12 or Coles 4038 to play with. Avalon tube DI. Its pretty crazy actually.

We won best venue of the year!! ..plug awards. Feels good. Rock n Roll

Air @ Centerstage Atlanta. Awesome! BT doing the surround thing rocked there, too.

That is correct. Designed and built here in MA by David's brother Rik Washburn of Middlehouse Systems. Great sounding rig. Dave made the old compression driver stuff sound good too, but you knew that!

"Johnny Clegg" at the Danforth Music Hall (Small auditorium-Toronto) last night.
Drums and sax were outstanding! 4 vocals including Johnny and when they all sang together it lifted the room.

Only regret would be that he mix in a few more favorites with the mainly unfamiliar (to me and the audience) material.

Ive been up in Glasgow on various tour loads in the last year or so. Which venue you at? Do you know Dumbo?

Best sound I can remember was Depeche Mode at Birmingham NEC last year.

Saw Steely Dan last year at Chastain Park in Atlanta on the Steelyard "Sugartooth" McDan tour (haha). That venue's right in the middle of a residential neighborhood so I've heard that the decibel counters are out in full force usually, but we were up fairly close and it sounded awesome. By far the best live sound I've ever heard was at Bonnaroo in one of the tents for Joshua Redman's Elastic Band set with Jeff Ballard and Sam Yahel... I still kick myself to this day for not finding out the FOH guys name so I could hire him one day if I'm ever in that position. It was ****ing incredible sounding, especially for a trio.

Rolling Stones in Zilker Park, Austin, Texas 10/22/06. Show was outdoors near several residential areas but the sound was great. It was clear, well balanced, and not too loud. They were videotaping (in High Def) that night for a DVD release, so they pulled out all the stops and the band also put on the best show they could. They were really trying hard that night and played some unusual songs that I have never heard them perform before. They had an amazing and very expensive audio and video set up which was the absolute state of the art for a large outdoor concert. It may be awhile before I see anything that elaborate again.

KREATOR in Santiago CHILE. Sept - 2002. Violent Revolution Tour inside a theater (3k People) with Meyer Sound. I was there as part of the opener band staff. Kreator didn't do any Sound check!!! Just a little check played by two roadies. As soon as the show started it sounded just like the album...not kidding.
Another great sounding was Dream Theater in Santiago - Dec 2005. The only problem was the wind, but when was calm it sounded great.
