Smile RECORDING CLASSICAL GUITAR

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi there.I just registered into this site and I'M LOOKING FOR A GOOD ADVICE ON A COMBINATION OF A ROYER R-121 RIBBON MIC AND A SUMMIT AUDIO 2BA-221 MIC PRE FOR RECORDING NYLON STRINGS CLASSICAL GUITAR.I'M A CLASSICAL GUITAR CONCERTIST\TEACHER AND I'M LOOKING FOR A CLEAN SWEET SOUND(NOT BOOMY OR HIGH FRZ BRIGHT).I ALREADY OWN A EARTHWORKS QTC-30 MIC THAT I'LL BE USING ALONG WITH THE ROYER IN A STEREO SETTING. I'LL APRECIATE ANY GOOD SUGESTIONS FROM ANY ONE WILLING TO HELP HERE.

First: Stop SCREAMING. I can hear you.

Second: Do you want us to recommend a combo that you yourself have already specified?? That said, I do like Summit Audio's stuff.

EDIT: OMG, this thread was kinda old. Am I missing out on something or why hasnt' anyone commented on this? I feel dumb now.
