Native Instruments/Pro Tools Question

I just bought native instruments komplete and have a few questions. In Pro Tools LE I often get the "lost communication with the 002" message when launching certain native instruments plug ins. Does this happen to anyone else? it's really dissapointing

ni history has not been good with pt. however, i hear they are getting better and they are actually starting to care. check their forums and make sure you have the latest updates....good luck....

Hey im running protools 7 on a hd system and am trying to get ni komplete 2 to run via protools. I have tried to update ni komplete and the updates dont seem to work. The programs run stand alone fine but wont show up in RTAS plug ins in protools. ANy help would be good!!!

Should i upgrade to PT 8 b4 i continue with this BS?

your best bet with NI is to first check through their forums and then if you can't find the answers you are looking for you should e-mail the support desk. They are usually promt in getting back to you and finding a solution. Their stuff is great if you can get it to work, but I've found it to be very buggy especially in protools and on macs, and some of the work-arounds i've used don't make any sense, but their help desk is pretty good and should be able to help you.
