Selling you music on myspace!!???

I don't know if this is old news, but a band that I mixed their album told me that they are selling their music on myspace www.myspace.com/gaia.

Its $1.05 per track

I didn't know that you could do that on myspace, I think is a great idea...

What you guy think??

Cheers

I've wanted to do this ever since I signed up for myspace. I even enlisted the help of a brilliant programmer to code it but the idea fizzled behind the weight of man hours it would've taken.

I'm so glad someone finally didi it. I wish iTunes would team up with Myspace. I think it would be a lot more readily recived by the masses.

OTOH, Something discouraging about Myspace music is that you can see some sites with hundreds of plays a day and maybe four or five downloads - That's *Free* downloads - It leads me to believe that there is some degree of apathy towards owning the songs on myspace.

I'm still down to try it though.

Thats true, but let also remeber that they plays doesn't really meant that the visitor listen to the song, at least me, when I visit a site that I already listened and downloaded their tracks, because start playing when playing rigth away, counts as a listen, when I wanted to check the new pics or something else.

I think that the only thing missing on myspace, is to have a interenet radio station, that would be cool too.

I've got 88,000 plays on my myspace music page. I wish I had a dollar for each of those plays...

I may on occasion talk about some of the products I am a dealer for in my posts.. and that's OK! I sell them because I like them. Not vice versa. It's more fun to talk about things you know and love, then things you don't.

88,000? That's pretty good man. I think you put your songs up around the same time I did and I only have about 18,000. Then again you're alot more talented than me.

Alright, It looks like it's $.45 per song for Snocrap (plus a $.10 because we can fee) That seems a little steep to me.

It also looks like soundstation charges $.33 per song with no service fees.

Can anyone think of any good reasons to choose Snocrap?
