Songs with Exceptional Kick/Snare/Cymbal Sounds

After reading that oneshots thread and the Shoulder Lean, I got inspired to see a list of songs that have kicks, snares, or other drum sounds that really stand out to GS users. So I'm curious, what are the songs that have that one drum sound that makes you guys go "whoa!"?

I'll start. The kick on T. I. - I'm Talkin' to You is one of the hardest banging kicks i've heard in a while. It's so low and solid and punchy. Still trying to figure out how to get that sound, it has so much weight.

Also, that snare from Busta Rhymes - Get You Some with that big clap in the background is pretty sweet.

And for overall drum sounds, Clipse - When's the last Time and Mr. Cheeks - Lights, Camera, Action have always gotten to me.

Curious to see what gets everybody else dancing.

i admire Primo`s "MCs act like they don`t know" beat- every kick before the snare hit is layered - sounds as REAL HIP HOP.

Listen to any sugar hill record label release. All fantastic sounding records. Check out the arrangements.

Whodini Escape album is pristine. (recorded in England somewhere....Battery?)

A lot of really good sounding records are recorded overseas. I used to dance fo 5 minutes of funk! Breakdance even. Hopefully my fam won't frame me up on YouTube!!!

Recently, I've been a fan of the Lost Boyz drums. Songs like Risin To The Top and Renee are solid. Deep, hard hitting kicks with classic snares and clean hats.

Nas' Stillmatic album is chock full of sick drums too.

I love the sound of The drums on the Steve Coleman and the metrics albums, because it's actually real live drums!! and the guy kicks ass.

Timbaland.........that's all I have to say.

Listen to some of Missy E's track by Timbo.
Great drum sounds and well produced.
