AT 4060 vs Blue Kiwi

Greetings,
I'm doing mostly male vocal with a home studio. I currently have a BLUE bluebird microphone hooked to a Focusrite 18i20. I've been happy with the setup but not blown away. My voice is kindda thin, so the bluebird doesn't help my voice cause the mic is too bright.
I've been thinking about dropping the coin on a new mic like the BLUE Kiwi or AT 4060. Which mic do you think it will be better for me?
If anyone has any experience or knowledge on this matter, I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks,

well, I think the KIWI is good, but still a bright sounding mic. The AT 4060 is overall a bit darker sounding imho. Why dont you test both and send back the one you dont want to keep.
I always do a direct comparison when buying gear.

Very different mics. I like the 4060 more.

Check out the Gefell m930, it's a great mic. It's in the same price range.

Hi Guys! Thank you for all of the comments!! I have experienced with blue microphone and they are pretty bright mic. So I decided to purchase a used AT4060 which is in great condition at Guitarcenter and it cost me around 700$ included tax and 1 year warranty! I think it's pretty a good deal!

Ya that's a great deal, and get a Telefunken tube for it.

Haven't used a 4060, but the Kiwi kills at my place. It is a bit bright, but I don't find it harsh and the sibilance isn't out of control or anything. Clients love it! "Crispy" or whatever they call it now a days.

Yah!! I hear many voices on the BLUE Kiwi, I love all of them. It's very decent, clear... But I just don't know how it will work on my voice though. I've used Bluebird and Blue Spark and the blue Spark works better on my voice! The blue bird is pretty bright mic and harsh!! I don't have much money to buy the AT 4060 & Kiwi at the same time to test though!! :(
