Still sounds so cool. Love that tune.

"I play a little bit of drums"
No shit, his drumming is incredible and sounds real raw!

anyone read his book?

I did, its really funny in places, but a bit whiney and depressing also tbh - well worth gettign though, there is not that many hip hop biog's out there, I got the Prodigy (Mobb Deep) and Chuck D ones too.

J-Zone is that dude..

"Even when I beatmake/the Zones bein cheapskate/hittin up the dolla bin/its all about the Washingtons"

Words to live by slutz

J-Zone was a total industry failure and his music whips 95% of the industries ass...I totally understand why he says he is never going to rap again.

I must say, that I really admire his early works, but I really dont like his new album because of the real played drums. the doesnt sound fat and crispy.. i dont wanna hate, but they sound like a drum-beginner made some hip hop beats. i really dig his old sampled drums. so fat, crispy and raw. and the new lp has too much sounds/noises and less SONGS! and thats what its all about. just my 5 cent.
