Smile MPC and LOGIC ?

Ok, so I am now using Logic 7.2 as a sound module for my MPC2500, this is a killer setup> My workflow is sample into logic> rough chop in logic> finechop in recycle>send samples USB to MPC> I use MPC for samples and drums/ logic for effects/soft synths, this is a great way to work. I then monitor MPC outs back into logic for more effects if I want. Now my question is how do I track all this back into logic when I am finnished with the song? any advice would help.
do I need to buy a interface with a lot of in and out to make this work or what?

thank for the help!

If you only have 2 inputs on your card then you do what I used to do with my EPS....
You go buy a big bag of chips, and a big 2 litre bottle of Coke, and a stack of Magazines.
Then you set your MPC to Midi Clock In, and set up your Logic to send Midi Clock.
Then you solo 2 tracks at a time, and spend the whole night recording 2 tracks at a time into logic, while eating said chips, and reading Vogue.

If you get a good 8 in audio interface, you can usually do it in about 20 minutes.

Good luck

All you need to do is do a realtime bounce, and then hit play on the MPC. Make sure you set your locator to allow you a little before and after time, just in case.

If you want to break it down by channel so you can mix it, you will need an interface with as many INs as you have OUTS on your gear. From there just mix on aux tracks and bounce like said above, or record audio then mix, however you want to work...
