Lots of speculation that this is Battery 4. Opinions?

What does Battery 3 not have that people want? Please don't say a step sequencer...

Although Battery 4 would be awesome. The waveforms that are being triggered in the video do make it seem like it could be Battery .
But there's also a sequencer going across the screen towards the beginning . So my guess is Daw, or Battery Quattro!

This would be cool if It was a controller with screen on the button that show a wave form of the audio in the button that is loaded there

Cool, i guess but seems pointless. Dont see any point in showing the waveform when they could just show you the name of the sample/sound. Most waveforms are hard to visually separate from another sound, especially on a small pad/button. lets say you have two kicks on separate pads/buttons, the waveforms will be QUITE similar.

The code for battery 3 is ancient.
About time they create another one instead of just updating it.
It's a pain to use on my mac so I hardly use it.

I use Battery a lot and have been concerned for some time that it wasn't going to survive NI's housecleaning binge. It wasn't at all reassuring a couple of months ago when NI added AAX plugins to all of the instruments in Komplete except battery.

i'm not gonna be disappointed if it IS Battery 4...i'll just be confused.

what is it going to be able to do that Machine can't do?

if they make Battery too dope, then people might stop buying Machines and just buy Battery.

That's what I don't understand... instead of improving Battery they should be concentrating on improving Maschine.

All the colored pads and the step sequencer at the beginning make me think its maschine related. Maybe 2.0 announcement with multithreading and a proper mixer? Doubt it tho...
