Thread Starter | contract... HELP!
I got a favor to ask of yall. I just recently got a shout from a very, very talented dude in my city, he likes my beats and wants to do a track. This dude is well known, and Im an inexperienced 17 year old on a first project. So my question is how do go about the finances here (I hate this part.) Should I be pushing for a contract, or be satisfied with a lump cash sum of say... 200 for a beat... the dude is gonna pay for the studio we are using. Im leaning towards the lump sum... Well, tell me what yall think! I appreciate any advice... Peace |

Hey man, If it's your first beat and this guy is well known then yea take the lump sum and make sure you have credit. Personally, I'd ask for more then $200 but take what you can get. What studio were you thinking of using? I live in Tdot and may beable to help you out concerning the recording process. |
