is there a way to take fantom or motif and seperate each audio channel without having mute each track or using midi.

It depends, are you doing Recording, Mixing or both?. If you are recording. How many Pre you got.?? Do you work ITB or OTB?

mix in the box

but my problem is when i am tracking i use the mpc200xl as my sequencer and monitor through pro tool and sync mpc with protool. but sometime i have tracks with three different sounds and i then have to create new tracks a seperate each sound to its own channel. But i want to have each sound on its own channel. Or do i have to midi my sound modules and synths to pro tools and use those channels seperate form the mpc. do yu get me
