I'm here for the riveting conversion with yourself. No really, I am! Such a fine specimen of human intelligence, your very existence was probably a case of serendipity. Again, I am sorry for forgetting about this post. I, unlike yourself do not have an extreme emotional attachment to this internet forum, thus often negating my duty on fulfilling all replies, particularly those to such inconsequential threads and people do not rank amoung my priorities of my time on the internet. Again, someone who takes themself as seriously as you do probably have great responsibilities to fulfill the requirements of the bling fraternity. Such as getting your knickers in a knot over the inconsequential. Oh, he does take himself so seriously doesn't he. Yes, I think the majority of hip hop is sterile, boring and emotionless. For a relatively new style in the grand scheme of things it plateaued and started its down spiral into the oblivion that is creative comfort. Sure, it isn't the only style of music to be overcome and fall to such a fate, particularly in this day and age. Particularly funny was the thread regarding presets and originality. Perhaps a sign of how much comfort people have... not a good thing tutt It is the creatively uncomfortable situations that result in true originality. Sure there are some diamonds in the rough, there are always exceptions. But for the most part, the compositional approach to hip hop has been so overdown that it has become its own cliche. Is this the bit where you accuse me of being a hater for having opinions that differ from your own? Perhaps you are insecure with your work, and maybe even thinking it fits neatly in the majority. Comfort in groups? Atleast if you suck, you suck together. |
