What happened to Pharrell's "In my mind" Album ?

I've only heard the single that they put on the radio in the beginning of the year... Its release was delayed twice as far as I know...

I didn't listen to it yet. Who did ?

I bought it, skimmed through it in the parking lot went back in the store and gave it to the girl behind the counter who said she was going to buy a copy.

I did this for one of two reasons

The girl was extremely sexy and I thought the album was garbage with the exception of that kanye track.

I think Pharell is trying to be so different that he becomes wack in the process.
I think Pharell is good at comming up with concepts for other artists music and singing the hooks. He should stick to that

Pharrell is usually so good...I loved that Gwen Stefani track "Can I Have It Like That"...but the album is shit. I think it's mixed really badly...Doesn't have the usual hooks. Hated it!

I skimmed through it as well.... to me it just sounded very very 2004... maybe since it was delayed it's not really the album's fault... all the tracks have that neptunes-funky-sexy-groovy-live sound which is pretty tired at this point since the neptunes FRIED it already... very uninspired IMHO... at least it did not inspire me :) which the neps stuff usually does...
