How tu use OTB Parallel compression?
Hey Slutz,

i wana toy around with parallel compression. I have a Beat i want to use my OTB compressor to blend the compressed signal into the Beat. If i run the Beat thru my desk thru the compressor back into my DAW, to have a seperate track for the compressed beat, how to i get it alligned properly so that i dont have phasing issues? How to deal with the latency till the signal goes back into my audiointerface?

What software are you using? Sounds like a HW delay compensation thing.

You could always print the return of the compressor and align it manually.

pro tools 10 is the daw.

this is exactly how im doing it at the moment. but maybe there is a better way? Hardware delay compensating, will research about it.
