Copying send automation in pro tools.

Ok usually when I want to copy volume automation, I just select, copy, paste, done.

Apparently there is something I don't know when it comes to copying send automation. I have a track that I am sending a signal to an aux track with a delay on it. I want to automate the send volume, not the Aux volume itself. I did that, but now when I want to copy the send automation from the first 8 bars to the next, it's not letting me.

Anyone know how to do this real quick?

Highlight the first 8 bars, and press command D.

Lives for gear

Make sure "automation follows edit" is turned on. It's right below the grabber and selector on the toolbar or under options.
