rough idea of prices to get a whole album mixed?

my friend is finishing his album and I was supposed to mix it but I don't think I have the skills it would take yet.

sooo I was wondering what were the "standard prices" to get a 12-13 tracks album mixed ? tracking has been done already, so he just needs mixing.

I'm not talking about bedroom studios prices though, more like small "pro" studios.. nice console & outboard gear with a nice engineer.

thanks!

$500-700 a day, with engineer usually.

I'd be happy to do it for $6,000

If you do not mind working on a distance [through the internet] then I can offer to mix for $500 a day. Depending on the songs I can do 1 or 2 songs per day. I mix OTB with loads of vintage gear and I'm experienced in house, hiphop and R&B. Ypu can email me for a complete gearlist. Or you could come over to Amsterdam

if everything's in a usable format and no crazy hoops need to be jumped through, and there's not a 1week deadline or something, i usually mix indie cat's albums for about $2500, which includes radio edits and alt mixes if needed.

thanks to everybody who replied and PM'ed me. I'll forward everything to my friend he might be interested by some of the offers I got. I don't think he wants to work through the internet though.

woah

Honestly, of you have the recording done, I'll do it for $2000, mastered. No bullshit. I have a studio with Pro-Tools HD and I can get it done in a week or less. Give me a shout if you are interested (cohnjesse@yahoo.com)
