I paid for my copy. Fruity is cool for general beat making, but kind of sux for mixing. The mixer sux and it doesn't have Auto PDC.

To me its just another tool, but its super easy to use and fast. All the songs on my myspace page was done in FLS.

Love FL for composing. But really to fine tune your mixes your best doing it in PT. I run all my motif sounds and record spdif into fl studio compose the elements and spit them out into PT to mix and arrange. Couldn't be happier. I figure it's going to PT eventually anyway. The drum and Midi are just too good in FL to leave it.

FL is like an mpc but better. The one thing it may lack is that hardware sonic touch that everyone claims mpcs add to the drums but that's what mixing and out boarding is for.
