Dre using Logic

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/vi...-3000-20121019

Don't know if there is actual footage of Dre behind Logic but here is a quick glimpse @0.22. Kinda cool for us production nerds. Wonder if he still uses his 3000s and keyboards along with Logic. Who is going to be first to freeze the screen and tell us exactly what he's doing on Logic. Looks like he's got the stock EQ and a cut up to bout 100hz

He's probably referring to the fact that a lot of people mistakenly think that using the same equipment Dre uses, will somehow make them sound the same. To me, the funniest part about the OP was pointing out an eq setting Dre was using. LOL!!

On the other hand, I don't see anything wrong with being interested in what big names use, just out of sheer curiosity.

^^ what's possibly even more scary/worrisome, is that if he was sitting next to a computer that just happened to have GB open...well,I'm sure we could all figure the rest out.

Although you are getting clowned about the EQ setting, I think it was a great post. Thanks.

I know Kendrick's producer "Sounwave" produced that track and also uses an MPC and Logic 9. You can see him in that video and maybe that was his logic session loaded on Dr.Dre's setup

Dr Dre uses three MPCs. And mixes in Pro Tools. Logic was shown to throw people off.

in OP's video you can spot 2 MPC 3000's, a regular grey model & a custom. it's most probable that they use the MP's to sequence drums from battery in logic & sounds from the phantom. pretty dope hybrid combo system!
