Motif ES 6 bad knobs and sliders?

Yea, so I go to adjust reverb with the knob or track volume with the sliders and it is not accurate any more. I have to turn it really fast, back and forth and hope it registers where I new it to. I am the original owner and its been well taken care of. I suspect dust or something even though it has a cover. Any one else experience this or have a solution?

A small spray of Craig DeOxit will help if it is a dirty pot. Is it a 0-10 pot or a continuous pot?

The Caig stuff is at guitar center in pro audio accessories & the Internet of course. Only use the red on pots, blue stuff on faders. The red will eat the fader lube eventually.

They are 0-10 with a nice notch in the middle.

Ok, that sound like an actual pot, not a rotary encoder. Which if it was Im not so sure Deoxit would fix.

Take off knob, spray just enough to get it barely wet around base of pot shaft and the bottom of pot. Work pot real good. Then wait 48 hours for it to soak in good before you give final test.
